Tomorrow I go in for my second nivo/ipi combo treatment. So far my side effects have been minimal. I have had two separate days about 8 days apart where I experienced pressure in my lower abdomen, I have had acne onsets where pimples have been appearing, I had two days of a very light rash on my forearms, and strangely I have experienced some sort of immunity to my allergies.

Previously I was experiencing a feeling of the onset of sciatica but this has largely subsided to where I now feel like I need my lower back popped or sometimes it is unnoticeable altogether.

I am anxious for my first scan to see if/what my results are. I realize I have some time before that but it is still in the back of my mind.

One of the things I do question is that one of the treatments is sensitive to light so the bag has a cover of some sort but the line that takes it to my iv is exposed and the lights in the room are glaring down on it. I know it is negligible but I think tomorrow I am going to request the lights in my room to be turned down and maybe take a nap. Lol.

A  nap sounds like a really good idea! Here's hoping for the continuation of mild side effects.

The black bag is a time thing. The chemical will be in the page for hours but only in the line for a few minutes at most.

I was in a room with twenty other patients for my Ipi treatment, so turning down the lights wasn't an option. I just shut my eyes!

I had lower back pain, rashes, itchy skin and some memory loss. I have had about 30 plus treatments now and all of my side effects lessened. My food allergies cleared up too.

Good luck tomorrow. I keep the lights off too.
