I am new to the board and wanted to see if anyone had advice on how to follow a thread.

i find that I am missing responses to posts I have made as well as other people's posts that I would like to follow the replies.

is there an easier way other than logging in and checking each post for new replies?

    thank you

Is it the 'subscribe to this topic' button, at the top of the thread? I agree, it's not easy… I do exactly the same as you – log in and check for replies – but that's not very efficient.

This is a very outdated style of forum but it works for what we need. The "subscribe" button has never worked for me. I have this site bookmarked on my browser so I can easily come back and see if there are new topics or replies to read. Would be great if we could get an email notification, especially when someone replies to your own topic, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, at least not that I have experienced.

        Agree Jenn-

I have in the past been an active member of another site called "Inspire- and more specifcally the lung cancer surviors network" within Inspire….

Yes, my husband too is a surviror….STAGE III lung cancer, now 7 years out!!!!

That site was was a little more efficeint, as you did get an email notification when somone responded to one of your own posts or one you had been following….

Would be great if that were the case here!

You can sort the posts by reply date, click at the top of the column.  That way the most recent posts are at the top.
