    Hi there,

My husband completed Yervoy in Jan 2015 with very mild side effects. Mild fatigue,

mild rash, and diarrhea that was easy to control. Lately he has been experiencing the mild

rashes and also had a bout with diarrhea. Has anyone else had delayed effects? The good

news is scans were done 2/16 and he remains NED. Thanks for any input.

Yes, I finished had my last Yervoy treatment at the end of June and my side effects had cleared up by  mid-July (although I have permanent damage to my pituitary gland).

My rash returned at the end of August for three weeks and my diarrhoea returned for six weeks from the beginning of September.

Congrats in the ned with yervoy. I’m sorry I can’t answer your question since I just finished my third dose of yervoy with having mild itching and fatigue two days after infusion. I’m taking the 10mg dose. I was just wondering if your husband took just the 4 doses of yervoy or did he do the maintenance doses also.

        Hi Greg,
My husband only did the 4 doses at 3mg. There was talk of maintenance doses in the beginning but never came about. Best of luck with everything.

I completed the 4 doses of yervoy at 10 mg and one maintenance dose of 3 mg and mt pituitary gland is also shot .  DR. says that happens in 3% of yervoy patients but I believe its much higher.  Also did the Interferon as a combo with Yervoy  (trial).  Finished in Jan. 15 and lost 51 lbs.  Has taken me all year to recover but have had no itching or diarhea.  Had radiation in Nov.15 to blast a speck on my sternum that has just sat there.  Scan last week and all clear, finally.  Have had stiff neck joints and muscles along with lower back muscle pain and some fatigue.  Fatigue issue has been from trying to balance out my hydrocortisone  (repacement for the pituitary failure.  We'll see what May scan brings.  Good luck to you all.
