There may be something to this. I had chronic Lyme Disease for years. The symptoms were manageable as long as I stayed on antibiotics. I was in the National Guard at the time and during a mobilzation exercise I was informed that I had never received my innoculations when I went into the military. So I got them all that day (tetanus, DPT, smallpox, etc.). My symptoms literally disappeared within the week and I was finally off antibiotics. This was back in 1993 and have not had a recurrence of symptoms since then. I was one of the lucky ones, indeed.

Now, if something similar can be done for melanoma and other cancers it would be awesome!

Woohoo bring on the dengue fever. I'm ready to try. Actually it makes sense it might actually work.

Artie- I've been hospitalized for both dengue and malaria (two different times).  No fun!  I wasn't terribly sick when I had malaria (we caught it early) but I have never been sicker than when I had dengue.  It's bad news.  Oh yea, and I still got melanoma.  Boo!

Maybe others would have better results?

Wow doesn't sound good. But hopefully they will figure this virus stuff out to get a good cure for us. Hopefully in my lifetime but I dunno. At least they are trying. Had my head scan today so wed will see how the tumor I know of is doing and hopefully they found nothing else but we shall see.

When my niece and nephew came down with the flu a month ago, I volunteered to babysit.  I cuddled with them and drank out of the same glass but no luck.  They each had 103 degree fevers but I couldn't catch it.  I was really hoping to try out this fever therapy!  Evidently my immune system is in cahoots with the cancer.
