I am devastated. I was receiving my PD1 treatment when Celeste was getting her treatment. We were both in a clinical trial with Dr. Webber, who also recently passed from cancer. Does anyone know was caused her death? God Bless her and may she rest in peace. She helped thousand of Melanoma patients.

Dr Hamid saved my life with Stage 4 melanoma. I highly recommend him because he is not only a brilliant doctor, but has dedicated his life to melanoma research and treating melanoma patients. You will not find any other doctor with his experience in melanoma treatments, melanoma research and clinical trials for melanoma than Dr Hamid.

I have been taking Lexothyroxidine for several years because Keytruda effected my thyroid. I have had NO issues with taking this drug. It is recommended that you take this drug on an empty stomach with a 8 oz glass of water.

I received an email back from Julie’s work colleague. It saddens me to tell you that Julie passed on October 10, 2020. Julie was very special and will be missed tremendously. God Bless her!

I am a stage 4 melanoma survivor. I just had my annual scans last week. I am very blessed and  remain cancer free 9+ years. A few years ago, Julie and did email each other. Julie’s last name is GREEN. Unfortunately, I lost contact with her, so I have no update on Julie. However, yesterday I found an old email from Julie, so I emailed her. However, I have not received an email back. I will post again if Julie contacts me and will let you know how she is doing.

I haven’t heard from Julie. But I do know Julie’s “Rock Star” is no longer a practicing Oncologist. Her former Oncologist is now a Chief Medical Investigator for a large Pharma Company in Massachusetts. Julie put great trust in her “Rock Star” oncologist and she must have been devastated when he stopped treating her. I have a very bad feeling about Julie because no matter how bad things got for her, she would always post an update. It saddens me that we have not heard from her. God Bless Julie!

Thank you John for filling in the blanks. Celeste and I occasionally emailed encouraging each other when we would get clear scans. I have been Stage 4 melanoma cancer-free since 3/2012. However, the fear of melanoma or another cancer showing up is a fear that I live with each day. I have heard of others like Celeste getting another cancer after taking pd1 and being in remission for years. Every day I am grateful that pd1 worked for me while others have died. I will never forget Celeste and her legacy on this forum selflessly helping others. She will be missed.😢

Thank you John for replying. I agree! Les was Celeste’s rock! I thought that she beat adenocarcinoma. My heart is broken for her family. I just can’t believe that she is gone! How did you hear about her passing?
