      Hi Arthur, I am  the sister of a melanoma patient, his tumor is in the sacral region affecting his S1 and S2 nerves, He has significant nerve pain and I wrote into the forum. I noticed you have nerve pain in your foot, as he does too, I am a registered nurse as well and I suggested  my brother to ask his doctor for lidocaine patches to place on the top and bottom of his feet. We have used it in the hospital, prescription needed and works better than lidocaine cream.

      I am wanting information on facet rhizotomy procedure.

      Hi Arthur, There is a heating pad called the "heet wave" they come in a large size, you heat them in a microwave and it produced a hot moist heat, somewhat like a hydroculator. Call Don, 603-626-1915. I am going to send my brother mine so see if it works for him. In the mean time we will get him the tailbone cushion.
