Dear MelanomaMom…..reading your posts really breaks my heart. This disease is bad enough as it is but for a child to deal with it is even worse. It's not fair! I lost my wife when she was 37 yrs old and she tried Interferon but the mm returned just one month in. I don't think it would have made a difference in her case but since Josiah is young and has no signs of mm at this point…it may be well worth it. Especially since he is all for it. Interferon is in my opinion a pathetic excuse for treatment but I guess with all the years of research this is all they can come up with. You and your family will be in my thoughts.
