My name is Kim. I am 34 year old registered nurse from Ashland, KY. This is my 3rd experience with melanoma…and it has not been a charm. I was originally diagnosed in 2008 and had surgery and participated in a clinical trial at University of Louisville. Not even two years later I was diagnosed with a second primary and had another wide excision. I most recently was diagnosed with an in transient metastasis and had surgery at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
