Bio

In August of 2016 I started teaching at a high school in Southern California. Previously, graduated from college, worked for a medical company, and had various other work after college. By October 2016, I was not just slightly fatigued and fog brained but was having poor digestion and severe abdominal pains that lasted for four months including severe anemia all leading toward pain which became so unbearable I sought out medical assistance first with a alternative health doctor and then with a primary NP. One and a half months of continued pain from the time o started seeking medical care for the treatment for anemia and progression of discomfort before my NP has repeat lab work done that showed an increase in inflammatory markers. She immediated scheduled me to go to the hospital and would call with the newest blood test results to confirm. I was diagnosed with stage four melanoma no primary March 9th, 2017. No family history of any like disease. One and a half years later I am NED still taking treatments (if the insurance would activate again after my job change). Next steps are to have my repeat scans every 6 months, and continue treatment indefinitely.
