Bio

I am presently 50 (as of November 12, 2015). I was diagnosed with bi-lateral Meneire’s disease at age 29. Cause is assumed to be auto-immune related. The disease led to eventual deafness at age 42. i now hear thanks to cochlear implants. Father diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and passed away January 2010. I started a new high-stress job Sept 2011. First lung tumor showed up on an x-ray July 2012. I suspect grief and stress played a role in my cancer development. I’m extremely lucky to be married to a wonderful man for 9 years. He’s not so lucky as he lost his sister and Mother to cancer within two years of each other. He made me promise to outlive him before he would agree to marry me. I don’t like to break promises.
