The David Cornfield Melanoma Fund (DCMF) was formed in loving memory of David who passed away in 2005 from melanoma at the age of 32. David’s wish was that his family and friends continue his fight against this terrible disease.
The mandate of DCMF to assist patients and their families to make this difficult journey just a little bit easier. We also wish to help educate the public about prevention and detection. To this end, we are presently working on an educational video, aimed at youth and their caregivers, which we will distribute to schools, summer camps, children and youth centers and other stakeholders.
We are located in Toronto, Canada.
During his illness, both David and his wife found this website (and the people they encountered on the bulletin board) to be of immense assistance and support. We hope that our organization can similarly help patients and their families.
