We apologize for the inconvenience, even with filters and monitoring in place, these occasionally sneak through and we appreciate your help in keeping this forum clear of spam and focused on our community.Sincerely,

Hello,
Thank you for sharing this and offering your feedback. We are committed to providing the best experience possible when using the MPIP forum, and recognize that spam posts interfere with that experience. Last year we implemented significantly stronger filtering software to better identify and block spam messages before they are posted. Unfortunately, some still make it through and we strive to monitor and remove these as frequently as possible. Additionally, we welcome all registered users to use the "Report" function at the bottom of spam posts, as this will notify the filtering software and can, in most instances, automate the removal process and help to better identify similar messages in the future. Thank you again for being a part of the MPIP community and helping us improve its use for all members.
Sincerely,
Adam, MRF -

Hi Vicki,
Thank you for reaching out, we would like to be of assistance to you. It's good to know that you are actively engaged with your healthcare team and have been so observant over the years. We have multiple resources available that you may find helpful:
On March 4-6, the MRF's CURE OM initiative is hosting the Eyes on a Cure: Patient and Caregiver Symposium, bringing together the nationwide ocular melanoma community for a weekend of research updates, discussion with experts and the chance to meet and talk with fellow patients, survivors and caregivers in the OM community. Registration is still open and we would love for you to join us: http://www.melanoma.org/get-involved/calendar-of-events/eyes-cure-patient-caregiver-symposium-0
The CURE OM Facebook page is an active, supportive community of people who can offer insight from their own experience, we invite you to join us on in that community as well: https://www.facebook.com/cureom/
The MRF website has information about the diagnosis and treatment of OM with links to support resources, questions to ask your doctor, educational events and more. In particular you may find the Phone Buddy program beneficial as a means to talk directly with another person who may share a similar experience. http://www.melanoma.org/understand-melanoma/what-is-melanoma/ocular-melanoma/ocular-melanoma-resources
In addition, please feel free to reach out directly to Lauren Johnston, CURE OM Program Coordinator at [email protected]. We hope you find these resources helpful, and please let us know if we can be of any other assistance to you.
Sincerely,

Hi Ed,
The organizers of the trial recently presented data from the Phase 1 trial at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, which you can find at this link: http://ir.iderapharma.com/news-releases/news-release-details/idera-pharmaceuticals-presents-positive-phase-1-data
The poster presentation from that conference is also available online, if you would be interested in reviewing that: http://www.iderapharma.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/A-Phase-1-2-Trial-of-Intratumoral-IMO-2125-IMO-in-Combination-with-Checkpoint-Inhibitors-CPI-in-PD-L1-refractory-Melanoma.pdf
I hope this information is helpful!
