Good morning,
The Melanoma Patients Information Page (MPIP) is a free and open forum for those affected by melanoma – either as a patient, survivor, caregiver, friend or loved one – to share their experiences, connect with others, seek information and offer encouragement to those in the community. MPIP members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and represent a diverse sampling of diagnosis types, therapy plans, treatment outcomes and more. While a difference of experience or opinion may lead to respectful discussion or even courteous disagreement, it is important that this forum remain a civil, open and welcoming environment for everyone who seeks it out. Please take a moment and review the Forum Policies and Code of Conduct that govern the use of this discussion board. Note that while the MPIP is a forum of, by and for its users, the MRF does reserve the right to remove posts that violate these policies and, if necessary, revoke the posting permissions for repeated violations.
Thank you for your continued use of this important resource and ongoing help to maintain an open, welcoming and supportive environment.
Sincerely,
Adam, MRF

In accordance with these policies, we have removed two recent discussion threads. We recognize that in doing so, some information that was not in violation (links to research, personal anecdotes about one's own diagnosis and treatment, etc.) may have been lost and apologize for this inconvenience. We invite all involved individuals to re-share any information that adheres to the forum etiquette and code of conduct, including:
– Be considerate when sharing your opinion. Stay on topic, and refrain from making comments directed at a particular individual or group
– Share your personal experiences without giving medical advice
– No personal attacks of any kind
– No slanderous posts impugning the character or ability of any health care provider
– No slanderous posts impugning the care received or service provided by any health care institution
– No abusive or obscene language
– No commercial posts of any kind-

Thank you for reiterating the rules. I have to say, I have learned so much on this forum about where to go for the latest and greatest, and yes, I am a medical professional but NOT a melanoma specialist. I will definitely use this forum to help any patients to get more information. I do not treat melanoma but guide the patient to the experts. I am an expert in other medical conditions, but not this.
Thank you to all the patients, family members and others who participate in the forum as I find it as a huge help and support.

I do believe Ed Williams has broken everyone of your rules. From attacking me constantly and consistantly posting "I do not have melanoma". Although he may be a long time member I hope you will give him a banning warning.
