Hi just asking if there are any durable responses to Zelboraf/Vemurafenib? I know Dick is doing well at 18months now, is there anyone else out there doing this well?
Thanks in advance

hi
I am going for my 3 month check up on monday. I wont have scans again until 4 month check up, but so far so good. I realize that does not put me on the long lasting list, but hope to be on it!
I did hear from nurse that insurance company might be pushing to move my scans to every 3 months(clinical trial had me on 2 month scans). I was told zelboraf on average only works 8 months so to make me wait an extra month is just wrong! I will find out on monday, my husband and I are ready to fight for my 4 month scan, stupid insurance co. Did anyone else hear similar about insurance taking over the scan time for zelboraf?
How is your dad doing?
Dick is the longest on it as far as I know. Dick how are you doing?

Hi Laurie
Another couple of weeks and it will be 20 months. I'm feeling good but like so many others, I am unable to relax and forget. My next set of scans will be the day before Thanksgiving; driving to and from New York City should be fun.

Hi Laurie fortunately we don't have the insurance problems you guys have over there. That's great everything is still going well. All the best for your next scans and getting back to me. Dad is doing ok, very sore joints and a bit tired but nothing serious, he is due for another scan in a month. We have monthly scans here. Take care.
Dick you are amazing…well done. You sound like you are a bit of an exception and hope you continue to be one for many years. I don't even have this cancer and I feel a level of that anxiety and I am never able to forget either. I cannot imagine how you all feel.
Take care
