Has anyone had a side effect from yervoy which led to intense buzzing in the ears and head? We cant seem to make the connection. This condition started 2 days after the second dose of IPI. Seems to be effecting left side of my head, ear, eye. Any ideas? thanks

I should have paid more attention to a neurological change that happened to me last summer… but in terms of IPI, I had not been on it yet at that time.

Neurological changes can be signs of other things. I would suggest contacting your oncologist (at Sloan Kettering?) and tell them you're experiencing a new neurological symptom. Describe it fully. Hopefully it's not anything else. That's why I think it would be better for you to have it checked out than be nothing. It could be nothing, or an early warning.

I'm just a patient reading the Yervoy adverse reactions guide.  If it was IPI it seems like it would most likely be an effect in the endocrine system (symptoms from endocrine can include headaches and mental state changes… ear buzzing is not mentioned but maybe it might be one of the rarer ones).

          Best wishes, Kyle
