There is tons of information about people doing Yervoy or "ipi" or "ippi". Look at the top of the screen under the MPIP heading and you'll see two tabs – one is Forum and the other is Search. Type in Yervoy or ipi or ipilimumab and you'll find a lot of information. That being said, it's different for everyone. Some have little to no side effects and others have severe. No way to know where you will be on the spectrum.

Hi Sam,
My husband was in a clinical trial with Yervoy (Ipi) which he started in Mar. 2011. He has been NED (no evidence of disease) for over 2 years now.
He had some fatigue, itching, eye brows turned white and then his beard, lost pigmentation in the face down to the collar bone and his body quit producing prednisone so he takes a supplement of 7.5 mg a day to replace it. If you would like to read his story it is on his profile.
Good luck with your treatments.
Judy (loving wife of Gene Stage IV and now NED)

Sam, I had 3 doses of yervoy…..couldn't have the 4th dose, because of yervoy-induced colitis. Yervoy did help me, even though I couldn't have the full amount. My tumors did not disappear, but they did get smaller and they are stable right now and have stopped growing. I don't know how long that will last, but I am grateful. Watch out for diarrhea. It can become serious with yervoy, and can lead to dangerous colitis. Report any diarrhea to your doctor. Good luck, Nell
