I am in the same situation…which do I choose first. I talked to my onc and we are going to do another MRI/PET as a new baseline and compare it to my last scan performed in June. Based on whether there is new growth and speed of growth will determine which one to start with first. Slow/no growth – maybe ipi first.

            Bill,

You really need to fill in your profile.  There is no one right answer. It depends on your particular history and the characteristics of your melanoma.  This is also when a melanoma specialist can give some insight.

Is your mel fast growing? Tumor burden? Have you tried another drug yet?  Whatever you decide to do, you need to feel it's the right choice at this time for you.

            Linda

Stage IV  since 06   currently NED for 2.5 months and just completed radiation

First, nobody can choose for you, you have to do it for yourself.

                I know, it sucks.

Beyond all others, you have to find something that makes sense to you and sort it out so it becomes a plan for YOU.

Not much help I am sure, but how to get after melanoma carries no certain answer beyond what makes sense to you.

Sort that out and get after it.

                Cheers,

                Charlie S
