Can you take Tylenol before brain gamma knife? They didn’t tell me otherwise, but wanted to make sure.

Not sure.  My instructions said to take regular medication with small sips of water.  They also prescribed Ativan for me to tak ahead of time.  Good luck to you!  Mine is scheduled for Nov 21.

I never took it BEFORE any of my gamma treatments… but did take it immediately afterward on several occassions, for the headache I got from treatment. Acetaminophen is the only thing my rad onc suggested when I had brain lesions. Apparently it doesn't thin the blood as much as naproxen or ibuprofin.
