      I got the news this evening that the black lesion on my tonsil is melanoma. I’m not sure what this means for the Clinical Trial I am on but I will be traveling there Monday. It is time for a scan and another treatment. I expect we will make a decision based on what the scan shows. The beast just keeps rearing it’s ugly head but I am determined to keep fighting back!

          Hey Lisa,

          I've been thinking of you daily!  So sorry that melanoma turned out to be the answer.  Sorry that it is putting everything in question.  BUT!!!  I know you and your docs will regroup and deal with this, too!!!  Hang in there!  Let us know what is up next.  love, c

              Thank you for your kindness and concern. It is nice to have the support of those who have been down the same road. I am also thankful to have two great teams of Melanoma specialists working with me to plan the next steps. Will keep in touch.

                sorry you have to deal with this news but let's hope your two crack melanoma teams come up with the perfect treatment plan for you.
