      Hi all I had a level 1 removed and now they want to take 4 more moles off should I be worried what are chance off having two or three Mel at once worried sick

          You posted about this earlier. Not sure what level 1 you are talking about. In your previous post you called it in situ. Stages of melanoma: Stage 0 (in situ), then Stages 1,2,3,4. In any case, most likely the other moles are not melanoma. Most people only get 1 primary melanoma. Some get more than one, but usually not at the same time. Nothing to worry too much about, try to relax.

                Level 1 is Clark's level 1 which means the epidermis only.  Most people use the term in situ.  Clark's Level isn't really used much anymore to describe a lesion.  Less than 10% have more than one melanoma primary. Watch for CHANGE. Changing lesions are the ones that should be biopsied.  Stable is good.
