Pissed at UNITED HEALTH CARE-MDIPA. 2/28/2011 They sent a 15 1/2 day supply of Gleevec that has held me staple for 2 years. Playing games since then, but sent me no more medicine. Tells me 1 thing. Tells mandatory specialty pharmacy a different story. This is in the government run Federal Employee Health Program.

              Jerry:

Great to see a post from you–even if it is frustrating.  You may have been posting, but I have not been on the board as much as I would like to be and may have missed it.

I would try calling Novartis (maker of Gleevec).  Most pharma companies have good programs to help people deal with insurance.  Not sure of their expertise with this plan, but it is a free call and worth a shot.  I think this is the number and if not they can probably direct you to the right number:

              1-888-669-6682
