      Jim's very enlarged lymph node (cervical) no treatment at all is feeling numb all arount part of it going up into the scalp and  up above the ear.   Does anyone know what this means.  Thank you.

          Also he is having some sharp pains in and around the node.. Please anyone, guess, Janner, Carver, Michael FL

              My "guess" would be the tumor is getting large enough to impinge on a nerve.  That could cause shooting pains as well as numbness.  My guess is that the symptoms would continue unless the tumor is removed.  However, it could be something else entirely….

                  I agree with Janner. Sounds like it is pressing on a nerve which would cause ths shooting pains and the numbness.
