    New to this forum.  My dear friend diagnosed with Metastatic melanoma.  Doesn't want to give up nothing worked do far.  Any suggestions.  Looking in to clinical ttrials live in Australia

      The options available are largely dependent on stage, extent of metastesis, etc.  I know and you will see a fairly wide range of options from interferon, radiation and bio -medical through some very promising new combination therapies available either approved or currently in clinical trial.  If you google advances in melanoma treatment you will see many of these cited.         Thank you.  Have you had success.  The LDH levels are high and he has been on Zelboraf but this seemed to assert the spread.  Cancer is on liver, lungs, spine, brain with a BRAF positive. What other options would be available

      I would look first for a anti-PD-1 trial.  There should be some available in Australia ass many as haave been started  in the US.  hopefully some one will have more  info tomorrow about the Australian status.
