My grandson (stage III – unknown primary) is losing weight for no apparent reason.  About 10-13 pounds.  He says he feels ok.  Has anyone lost weight as the first symptom of a recurrence of melonoma.

The board really needs more info to better assist you. Other than mentioning he is stage three, there is no other information, and none on your profile as well.

      Relationship change? Family problems?

Medication change? What is he taking?

      Has he done interferon?

      Recent viruses, illness?
