Hi all! A friend has been diagnosed with oral cancer. This site has been invaluable as a place to learn, vent, and reach out to those with melanoma. Does anyone know of something like this site for oral cancer? I would appreciate any information that I can pass along. My direct email is:

    caratindell@comcast.net

    Thanks for your help!

      Hi Cara

I don't know if there is a site like this for oral cancer. I know there is a website ..I believe it is Oral Cancer Foundation. My son has oral melanoma…very rare even for oral cancers..so I went to that website for info and it scared the heck out of me so I never went back. But there may be useful info for your friend.

Do you know what actual type of cancer your friend has?  Too often the location is given as though it is a type cancer, not just a location.  Even the Dr Oz TV show refers to cancers as by location only.   Melanoma is a cancer that can go to any location in the body.
