My husband had a recurrence, after three years of being NED and free of treatment (thanks to keytruda). A little black spot under the skin found a month ago was indeed melanoma. Pet scan followed which showed few spots in lungs with very low SUV, but also a lit up vertebra in his spine (SUV 5,2). His doctor suggested keytruda again, along with lenvatinib.
I know keytruda had minimum to no side effects on him. But I only know few things about the pill. Has anyone had experience of this drug? Can it be tolerated well? Any info would be precious for me.
Thank you

Hélio,
My wife used levantinib for about 2 years with Pembro. The combination of these two drugs helped a lot in stopping the progression of the disease. Let’s say: if the disease comes at a speed of 100km/h, the treatment reduces it to 5 or 10km/h. The problem is that after a while the side effects increase a lot, it seems that the body becomes saturated, especially the digestive system. YES, my opinion is that this treatment is definitely worth trying. -

I had a recurrence (lymph node groin 4cm, suv was about the same)last year after 3 years NED from opdivo yervoy. I then had 2 cycles of nivolumab/relatlimab followed by surgery. The nivo/rela shrunk the tumor in half and upon pathology it was less than 10% cancerous. No re-currences in the following year. There is hope in re-starting immunotherapy and I’ve read good things about Levatinib. Best of outcomes God Bless.
