    I was diagnosed with Melanoma in Feburary 2015. It has been nearly two years since my diagnosis and surgery. A few days ago, I started experiencing some pain under my left arm near the scar where my lymphnode had been removed. This morning, I started feeling around, just to be safe, and I felt a small knot. I realized then that the knot is what has been causing me pain. It hurts for me to move my arm up, or stretch my arm out. Does any one have any idea as to what it may be?

      You should go to your doctor, to check it. It may be abother lymph node. The lymph node may be recurrence of melanoma. Melanoma can spread to nearby lymph nodes, or you may have some kind of infection. Your doctor may prescribe you antibiotic, if it doesn’t go away, you need to have biopsy done on what you call knot.I am talking from my experience.
