Yes–I was on the phone with the company when the announcement came out. I have posted the announcement as a separate post, and should be able to provide more information on cost, etc, later today.
I think we all know that this is not a home run–the response rate is in the low 20% range. But it is, nevertheless, a big step forward.

I think the first drug to extend overall survival and the first to be approved in 13 years is very exciting. Most definately a big first step in that home run we all want to see. Now we need to figure out how more people with Stage 3 can get it.
