Just got scanned yesterday with results today.  Appears there may (or may not) be inflamation around my thyroid.  Any MDX/Ipi/Yervoy survivors that now have thyroid issues?  I finished my MDX/Ipi trial in Feb 2009.

    Thanks for any replies.

After 5 months on PD1, I lost some function of my thyroid. Now I take meds daily to regulate my thyroid.

      Hi Rocco,

I developed subacute thyroiditis after being off Ipi several years. This condition is when the thyroid flip flops: first it's overactive and I'd lose weight and then it would be underactive and I'd gain the weight back. I never went on meds for it and according to my endocrinologist my thyroid seems to be normalizing

Best of success and God Bless
