          Hi,

My husband had three doses of carbo/taxol last fall and about a month later was feeling significantly better.  I realize that some melanoma advocates say that traditional chemo does not work for melanoma, but the fact of the matter is that no one really knows what works for one and not another nor do they know why something works for one but not another.

If it is working, good for you.  And, what I have learned is keep at it.  Don't base your individual situation on the "stats".

          All the best.

One more thing.  My husband has also had Zelboraf, IL2, and yervoy.
