      DOes anyone know how I can get HLA testing done in Canada I understand it is a simle blood test and I would like to get here while doing radiation before we go down to NCI so they have everything when we get there

          I don't know in which in province that you live but I I would check with a regional cancer centre and your oncologist.

              I'm not sure how it works in Canada, but I know that when we asked Roswell to do the HLA testing for Dave, they said they wouldn't because there are too many types of the HLA protein to test for.  If this in regards to NIH, they can do it down there, and doesn't need to be done before you go down.

              Let us know what you find out, because I would be interested in knowing if anybody does any type of testing for specific genes/proteins.  It would be nice to know what avenue to pursue and whether you qualify or not.
