This Off Topic BB used to be very very active. It was a combination of patients, caregivers and family members. And it was an anything goes outlet for all of us.

This Off Topic BB used to be very very active. It was a combination of patients, caregivers and family members. And it was an anything goes outlet for all of us. We fought, we laughed and often became very close.  It linked people from all over the US and other countries as well.  It became a great place to blow off steam, laugh, curse or cry.  It also got abused by some and that eventually drove away a lot of people.  Perhaps some of you should grasp the opportunity and use this almost empty board to vent and share about things you don't feel comfortable talking about on the main board.  Its here for the taking. Make it yours!

What this place really needs to spice it up, is more pictures of cool boats and old geezers. Got any?

Just discovering this BB and trying to figure out the differences between the MPIP BB and this one.  Perhaps I've been posting inappropriately on the MPIP…not sure!   I would like to know more and get a better feel for how to use both effectively.  I'm not the best with computers and tend to stay away from stuff I don't understand or feels like to much energy used, trying  to figure it out!  However, melanoma has changed that and whether I like it or not, I need to figure it out.

That being said, how was this site abused?

Well honestly it was Jag's constant self abuse.  Habitual mental masturbation caused by brain met damage to his frontal cortex which is now missing.  No self control. Aside from that he's a nice but lonely guy who relates to animals better than to humans. A side effect of living in NY City. He spends his days riding the subways and humming  "I am a rock, I am an island, and a rock feels no pain, and an island never dies,  da dum, da dee dee dee dee dum, dum dum".
