Hi, I'm very afraid again. Tomorrow my husband  (stage 3A for now, and 40 years old) has the horrible semester Scan (TAC).

Two weeks ago my husband ended two years of treatment with pegylated interferon. They were two very difficult years …. But he  finally finished the treatment,  now we  have to pray that the beast does not return.  Let's try to find a normal life again.

I have a lot of anxiety for the TAC. Please God help us …

    Regards.

    Gaby

      Hi Gaby,

I wish you and your husband good (NED) scan results. I can relate to your nervousness and what your husband has been through.

I, myself, have been undergoing onterferon treatment since May 2014. I'm doing the 1 year, and has a PET scan back on Jan which came back NED. I believe my next PET scan will be 3 months after my interferon treatment is done (August?). I was a nervous wreck waiting for the results.

The best advice I can give is just let the results come to you. Keep your mind busy. If you are religious, find peace it giving up control to God and allow him to take on your burden of doubts and stresses.

Be sure to post and update. Best wishes.

Hi Mike, thanks for your words, tomorrow we have the result of SCAN

how you feel with interferon? My husband ended three weeks ago and now  he feels better. Treatment with interferon was difficult, but for stage 3a is the only drug approved.

        greetings.

good news! Today we visited the oncologist with the result of SCAN, and everything is clean !! Thankfully, my husband two years and four months which is NED ago. Also my husband could finish with pegylated interferon tramiento, so now let's try to do a little more normal life.
