My husband seems to have pneumonitis again (not confirmed yet but highly probable) after being on Keytruda for only 2 months.  43 year old male otherwise healthy.  Diagnosed initially with stage 4 in 2017.  Unknown primary origin.  Braf negative.  Brain mets. Treated with SRS and Keytruda in 2017.   The first pembro run was for about 4 months (I don’t remember how many infusions) before they discontinued bc of pneumonitis.  Brain mets appeared again this past August.  Underwent SRS again but then a lymph node in his armpit lit up on the last CT so they started Keytruda again.  He had PFT’s yesterday (pulmonary function tests) which weren’t good so they moved up his CT chest to this evening.  I’m wondering what info any of you may have on the success of immunotherapy after only partial treatment? I fear they’ll discontinue it again and I’m lost as to how to treat him going forward.  Between you and me,  I’m feeling a little helpless.  I have to find the next route for us and I could use some help.  I’m all ears.  Thanks for listening. – Erica
