Does anyone know if trying to diet will affect the opdivo treatment? Specially trying the low carb diet?
my stomach does sometimes gets upset with treatments
but I’m thinking about the more energy I could get from the no carb diet to counteract the fatigue
just curious. Any thoughts??

There is no reason dieting would effect treatment. Do what makes your body happy and healthy. As always, run anything new by your oncologist first.

Speaking not as a dietician, just someone who worked with one who is highly respected in her field, and who has studied diets as a lay person (due to my own condition) for years, I'd like to respectfully suggest that you consult with a top-notch dietician before making a switch to any extreme diet. No carb diets omit important nutrients – some that your body may well need to fight this crappy cancer. Yet you could be on to something that some dietary adjustments may help you gain more energy and feel better.
As a side note, my husband's oncologist strongly recommended he start taking a good probiotic even before he began his infusions (nivo or nivo/ipi) to help with stomach issues. He also drinks kefir and eats a few "energy bites" that my own dietician suggested I make for him to increase good bacteria. (They have carbs in them, among other ingredients.)
Just my take, obviously, though given from a place of caring.

My husband lost 35 pounds while on Keytruda, by using myfitnesspal to keep track of calories. Low carb diets cause some people to have constipation and depression. You mileage might vary.
As the weight loss proceeded, the infusions were a little complicated because the original prescription listed his heavier weight, and the nurses get concerned every time and have to call the pharmacy, which holds things up. They don't seem to know that the dosage doesn't vary by weight.
