Last week I had treatment at Stanford with CyberKnife for a small tumor in my brain. Things have gone well with some fatigue. Had one 30 min. treatment. Anyone else with experience or treatment?

My husband had the GammaKnife treatment ( I think it's the same – 201 shots of radiation in one big machine right?). We where over there ( in Spokane, WA) in Feb, he is going back for a follow up MRI and his last one showed a reduction of his tumor and he has responded well to that. He took Temodar as part of a protocol that he was one for 3 months or so, we will see how his next test results come out.
Good Luck

Hello,
I had 3 saps of Cyberknife/SRS on July 14, 15, & 16, to mop up after July 01, 2010 brain surgey. All went well. I still have a little sore neck. and about last Wed. my hair started falling out right next to my scar line, so that took about 3 wks to start happening. Other then that no problems. I m doing a CT scan later today then meeting w/doc on Thursday to discusss next move. I leaning towards doing Ipi sometime soon, will keep ya posted.

cyberknife is different than gammaknife. What were the side effects of the temador as they have spoken about that as an alternative and how did he take it (number of times/length.
Thanks
