I apologize if this is inappropriate to ask, but I am curious to know what people are typically being charged for ipilimumab treatments. I was told it would be 30,000.00 per treatment. Imagine my dismay when the bill arrived and the charge for two treatments- just for the ipi- was 353,958.88!  Can this possibly be correct?

I thought I had been told that each infusion was around $125,000. I am in Canada.

I am on a reduced dose at about $13000 Cdn so I would multiply by three for full dose, but I guess body weight plays into that too?

I have never paid for Ipi or Nivo, insurance or however it works covers it all. I see the bill, usually says $100,000 for every infusion… but my part is $0. I am in the US.

BMS has patient assistance if you need it: http://www.bmspaf.org/#home

There are other charities as well that help with drug costs.

Thanks, it turns out the nearly 354000.00 charge is for one treatment.

My bill for Ipi alone is $58,000 (USD) for one dose of 3mg/kg. My insurance company pays 70% of that. Thank goodness for the grant from BMS.
