Can orange juice be deleterious?

I ran across this article that really surprised me. It says one glass of OJ a day is fine but two can be deleterious. But the source was published in 2003. I hope there is later research. Does anyone know about the risk?

The thought is that too much concentrated OJ can spike up your blood sugar levels. Plus it's is too many calories.  Some nutritionists say why not eat the Orange?  Eating the Orange instead will not cause the spike in blood sugar because it isn't as concentrated and the fiber also plays a part on slowing the digestion of it, so you don't get that spike. That is what I have learned in my research. Sounds good to me.

The article actually says that two glasses of OJ can result in an overdose of vitamin C! This is such rubbish I barely know where to begin. Personally I think fruits and berries are extremely healthy and I don't see anything wrong with consuming a normal amount of OJ. As the previous poster says, eating the whole orange is probably better. And be sure to read the list of ingredients and stay far away from "Sunny Delight" and any similar mock juices.
