    Hi everyone-

I had posted last week regarding new symptoms that I have been having as far as having a foggy brain & a headache that has lasted for 5 + days. I went to the Dr. yesterday & she performed a bunch of test & said that I failed a few & she needed to order a MRI STAT to rule out Brain Mets. I am very concerned at this point.

How likely/possible would it be that it has treaveled to my brain? History-I was Misdiagionised 2 years ago I actually had Stage 1A with margins involved that was not re-excised for 1 1/2 years then I had only 5mm margins removed in March 2014 & to date I have not had the other surgury for the additional 5mm yet.

    Any advise would be great.

    Thanks!
    Stephanie

Is it possible you have melanoma brain mets?  Yes.  Is it likely?  Just no way to know given you history.  Obviously, it would be very rare for someone with an excised stage IA to present with brain mets.  But your lesion wasn't treated correctly and all bets are off on predicting anything.

Good luck and let us know what happens!

I'm glad you are getting your head mri just to be safe. For my last one i did pretty good until a couple days before and about drove myself crazy with worry. Turned out awesome though. 2 were so small they couldn't hardly see them anymore and the one they radiated stayed about the same size. Maybe I'll learn not to worry from now on cause it does me no good. Granted none of them were in my brain just pushing on it. So just an example so hopefully you can try to relax and just know it's going to be ok. Like janner said it is very unlikely you have it in your brain. Like a friend told me they wouldn't find anything in my brain cause I have nothing up there anyway. Ha ๐Ÿ™‚ And low and behold they didn't find anything.
