Hello everyone. My husband keeps having brain mets pop up over the past year. They treat them with SRS but I’m wondering which immunotherapy might be the best for crossing the blood brain barrier? He’s been on Keytruda and Yervoy in the past for mets in the body (both were successful) but both treatments resulted in pneumonitis. We’re tired of just waiting for new mets to show up in the brain only for them to be radiated and then wait for more. Does anyone have any insight about which immunotherapy might be most successful with helping brain lesions? (he didn’t have any pop up while on either of the 2 immunotherapies before so they must have been doing something…..) He’s willing to risk the pneumonitis again. Thanks- Erica
background- husband is 43 yr old male dx’d 4 years ago as stage 4, been doing well except for the recent brain activity
