    I have a feeling this is going to be me. I had an X-ray almost five weeks ago where the shadows looked the same or maybe worse and another one yesterday that was the same. However this past week feels like the meds started kicking in. I had first side effects–super high fevers, slightly elevated liver numbers, and more. 

    My big scan is next week. I'm already sad.

      A lot of people don't show a response until the 3 month scan after the 4th dose, so don't get discouraged. Even then, sometimes it takes a little while on nivo maintanence before seeing a really good response. These drugs take time.

      On x ray thing can appear the same cause x ray doesn't show anything else except the size, which doesn't say much… tumors can be infiltrated with killer cells and therefore appear larger or be in fact dead tissue (but still not resolved) so not really the best way to go about assessing progress…

      try to stay calm until Pet scan, only then you will have some real information weather or not the treatment is working…

        Hi Patrisa,

        I think im just getting a CT with contrast. Is there a reason they wouldn't order me a Pet scan?

        Pet Ct is more expensive!!!!
