I recently read that blocking autophagy with malaria drug may help overcome resistance to BRAF drugs.  The drug is hydroxycholoroquine (HCQ).

Does anyone have experience with this treatment, and if so, what have been the results?

      Barry

It is a study being conducted by Ravi Amaravadi, M.D. at the Pennsylvia University Medical School.  It is the Perelman School of Medicine (Abramson Cancer Center).  The name of the drug is hydroxycholoroquine.  If you can't find it let me know and i can fax the article to you.

Good luck to you and your wife.
