No idea how long it's been there It's under 4mm I think. The problem I have is I can't afford to shell out for s Biopsy without sacrifice so please looking at the mole is it safe to watch and wait? Or because it's new should I remove it?

I've not had Melanoma before.
Do you think it looks suspicious enough to get it checked?

I think you’ve already answered your own question by being concerned enough to post here. Does it look different than other moles on your body? Is it the “ugly duckling?” I just had a similar experience and went to the Derm. last Thursday to have a new, dark, asymmetrical mole removed because it was clearly atypical. No results yet, hoping for the best. I felt it was important to go because it cpuld mean the difference between catching it early and not which is potentially deadly. I was not willing to take that chance. -
