Just checking in to say that I am still alive and NED. Found this board 24 years ago and the friends and community on this forum helped save my sanity and life.

Diagnosed with melanoma in situ on right leg, within 9 months, melanoma had spread to one lymph node with extracapsillary spread.

I had a full groin lymph dissection and radiation therapy to abdomen and leg. Lymphoedema followed in my right leg.Chose not to have interferon, the only other treatment available at the time. 50 percent chance of surviving 5 years.

Hope that everyone keeps fighting this disease and keep up with your skin checks. There is always hope.
