I've been Stage 4 for a little over a year. I did Interleukin and went into remission earlier this year. I had a scan a bit ago and the doctor told me I had a shadow but it was infection which the reading radiologist confirmed. I've been struggling ever since as I think I have something wrong with me. I spoke to doctor and he was understanding but also said growth wouldn't happen overnight. I was asked if I have a cough, trouble breathing, chest or back pain. I complained of itchy throat. That could be from many things but I do always have funky ear drainage, stuffy nose and allergy type symptoms. I'm just so nervous and want an chest xray but don;t want radiation. My primary said this could be psychomatic coupled with post nasal issues etc.. What can be symptoms of lung metastasis? I feel fine physically but mentally I'm struggling….anyone else go through this? How do you cope?

Have you had alergy problems in your past?
I have Was told I had extremely bad COPD.  Took 9 monoths of 2/day 100 mg doxycycline and cleard up the worst of the problems.  i also now have doubly innumerable lung nodules (another  melanoma horror tale)  Have had the lung nodues for oveer 7 years now.   not NED, but NOT DEAD They have run all kiinds of tubes and cameras down my throat and can not find anything showiing on the inside.  Yes, I wondeer when I cough up any blood, heavy mucous 9the  mucous is several times a day).  Have you tried Nasaal Crom?  It might help with some of those symtoms.

Thanks Jerry. Yes I'd say I have had allergy issues for many years especially this time of year living in midwest. I get real stuffy and dried out. I hate taking medications but I'll try something. Thankis for response.

No symptoms for me when I had lung met but it was about 1 cm and few other small ones. Blood test never showed either.I had a lump in scar line and things progressed from there. I deal with allergies and I also have the anxiety and nerves so I understand where you're coming from….just be diligent. As far as coping, take it a day at a time. I know easier said than done.
