    Is it agreed upon that WLE surgical margin for Breslow less than 1mm should be 1cm?  I've read some evidence that suggests 2cm margins may have lower rate of local recurrence?

      I had 2 cm and 0.2 Breslow.

        My Breslow was 0.3, but my surgical margin was 1 cm.  Makes me wonder if I should have gotten 2 cm surgical margins.

        I did not have shave biopsy from beginning ,I had removal of mole with 1 cm around. After pathology I had another 1 cm removed.

        Oh, ok.  I had an initial shave biopsy (which actually got all the melanoma), and then had WLE with 1 cm margins.
