Had both a Moh's procedure and plastic surgery for a very sneaky bcc this week. The dam thing never presented on the surface. No bump, nada. But it went pretty dam deep. The only smptom was a small grayish spot that I almost forgot to point out to my Derm. She hadn't noticed during my exam. biopsy revealed a nodular bcc with roots extending in at least three directions. Off to a Derm surgical specialist who teams with a plastic doc for the reconstruction. What a mangled mess. Wife says my nose was too big anyhow. I'll get even later.

Meanwhile I only sneak out of the house after dark. Don't want to scare the neighbor kids . Just glad I'm too old to care much anymore. Might have to grow a moustache and comb it up. π
PS: After it heals Pat says I might be mistaken for Owen Wilson. If I buy a blond wig. Do younger women like Owen?

Eeek that is my recurring nightmare. When I had my second mohs on the nose the doc had a picture of a man without a nose and one with a prostetic nose in the procedure room.
Did they do a skin graft on you? Hope you feel and look better soon. π

They didn't think a graft would look good so they made some extra incisions to form flaps that are supposed to fill in. Hope it works. I had a previous Mohs on the bridge for an SCC, but it was pretty shallow and didn't require any repair. This BCC was on the tip. I had a neighbor who lost his entire nose to a BCC that only was a small nodule on the surface. Seems they can be extra distructive in the nasal area. He had a flap from his arm to rebuild his nose and it looked as good as new but took a while to complete.

Ok, I think I understand now. Moderately old women don't like Owen Wilson. REALLY OLD women don't even know who he is and probably neither like nor dislike him. So how about middle aged and young women. What do they think about him? I'm assuming you might still know some women who are neither moderately old nor REALLY old. I have to confess that I once knew many many younger women, I no longer remember their names. Nor exactly why I liked them so much. This is the male version of transitioning from moderately old to too f…… old! π

yes.. I do know plenty of younger AND middle aged woman, but, surprisingly, the ONLY one who is discussing Owen Wilson with me is an old man π
