Just a little update.  MamaG has been here (in TX) with me since April 16th.  She was just gonna stay a couple of weeks, but "she kinda likes it here"… lol!   I'm liking it, too!   She's got everything she needs (or wants): a chair to sleep in, her cat, her meds, nebulizer, and oxygen when she's in her 'sleeping chair'.

She sprained her back a few weeks ago, and FINALLY let me take her to a doc last Friday, who sent us to the ER for tests.  Hosptial doc says she has acute kidney failure (goes along with the congestive heart failure), and against his advice, mom refused to stay in the hospital.  It was a little tough signing the form saying doc wanted her to stay but patient refused.

Looks like she'll be staying permanently.  (But then again, she could change her mind anytime.)  Totally up to her what she wants.  She'll be 84 on June 22, and as long as she can make decisions for herself, I'm gonna let her.

The girls are outta school (YIPPEEEEE!), well all except Jenna (she turned 10 on the 14th), who has 4 weeks of summer school.  *sigh*  Hopefully she'll pass, if not, she knows 4th grade is there again in the fall.  She's not stupid, just damn lazy!  I think this has been a huge wake-up call for her!  Hoping, anyway!  Lacy will be in 1st grade and Allyssa will be in 7th (can't believe it!!).  When I was diagnosed and came to this place, I didn't have any grands.. now I have 4!  Rylee is 5 now, and Lacy's birthday is tomorrow–she'll be 6.  That's 4 birthday's this month!. ALL the girls, including my dau. (who was 31 on the 19th) were born in May!   Allyssa's birhday was the last day of school (27th).  Unfortunately, she got to spend it with me and MamaG in the ER 'til almost midnight.  But she had fun Saturday and Sunday, so it made up for it.   Anyhoo, ONE more birthday this month and I'm thru 'til mom's birthday!

Gearing up for barbie convention in July… can't wait!  Taking the girls to Disney (I DREAD THAT!), then Ft. Lauderdale, here we come!  I've never been there, so I'm really excited!

That's about it……..nothing much new. LOL!!  Hope you all have a wonderful, fun and safe summer! *hugz*
