After a short delay getting insurance sorted I started Infusion 1 of round 2 of Nivo today.  I will be on the 4 week cycle of 480mg.

Lots of talk about side effects and due to my previous hepatitis I will be going back for weekly blood tests until they are happy the liver is doing ok.

CT scans in 11 weeks that I’m not looking forward to but optimistic for some good results!!

best wishes to everyone else in the fight

    Mark

Good luck Mark. am hoping side effects will be much less this time since no ipi; also its possible not to have side effects second time around – but of course monitor everything carefully. Am hoping they took you off too early before (not sure why they did this) and thaf this time round will work

      best wishes

Thanks All – adding Ipi again is back up plan 1 but am really hoping I don’t need it.

Its been 4 weeks with no treatment since last CT scan so a bit worried that any response may not be enough to overcome 4 weeks of progression, but will be ready to have that fight with the oncologist if and when the time comes.  Hoping that now I am under private (non-government funded) care they can be more flexible with treatment.

Also having read the recent posts on gutbiome I have ditched the pro-biotics and stocked up on high fibre foods – will see if it helps!!

Best of luck to you, Mark! I was taking probiotics when I started my Opdivo also, and stopped a bit of time ago under the advice of my nutritionist.
