I don't want to seem like a hypochondriac, because I'm usually not too fussed… and I have a doctors appointment a week from now (earliest I could get)…. I know I shouldn't ask for diagnosis, but just want to see if anyone could identify what this is?

it started off flat and within a month it is slightly raised and has a dome shape to it. Thank you kindly xx

      Hi Bianca,

HOnestly, the only way to tell is to have it excised and examined.  No one can tell you one way or another just by looking at a pic.  There are lesions that look like the melanoma poster boy that turn out to be benign and some innocuous looking barnacles that come back positive.  The good news is you are proactive and getting it checked out quickly!!!  Good luck next week.

      Stan
